25 years of honest auto repair in Nashville, Tennessee
25 years of honest auto repair in Nashville, Tennessee
Mike Callahan started Elm Street Garage in 1998 with two lifts, a box of Snap-on tools, and a reputation for doing things right. Before opening the shop, he spent 12 years as a lead tech at a Nashville dealership, where he learned that the dealership model didn't always put the customer first.
Today we've grown to a six-bay facility with a team of ASE-certified technicians, but the philosophy hasn't changed: tell the truth, charge fair prices, and stand behind your work.
We believe auto repair should be straightforward. That's why we provide written estimates before we start, explain every repair in plain language, and never recommend work that isn't needed. If your car just needs an oil change, that's all we'll sell you.
Every technician on our team holds current ASE certifications and participates in ongoing training. We invest in factory-level diagnostic equipment so we can work on everything from 1990s trucks to the latest imports.
Every mechanic holds current Automotive Service Excellence certification with specializations in engine repair, brakes, and electrical systems.
All repairs come with a 24-month / 24,000-mile parts and labor warranty. If something isn't right, we fix it at no additional cost.
Written estimates before every job. No hidden fees, no surprise charges. We call you if we find anything unexpected during a repair.
